The Senior Sales Engineer is responsible for achieving technical and commercial sales targets for power transformer products by providing specialized technical solutions to clients in the energy and industrial sectors, building long‑term relationships with government and private entities, and ensuring the delivery of accurate technical and commercial proposals that align with project requirements

What You’ll Bring :
  • Identify and target new customers within the designated region who can benefit from power transformer products.
  • Conduct regular field visits to existing and potential clients to strengthen relationships and explore new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams to understand customer requirements and provide the necessary technical support.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets through focused and effective sales strategies.
  • Prepare and analyse customer data, monitor performance indicators, and regularly update contact databases.
  • Secure new orders, renew contracts, and coordinate smooth delivery of products.
  • Recommend optimal products and tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to product development efforts based on market demands and customer feedback.
  • Analyse tender documents and quantities, and provide well‑studied technical and commercial assessments.
  • Coordinate with production and design teams to ensure final products meet client specifications and requirements.
  • Support the contracts management team throughout all project phases—from negotiation to signing and delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with utility companies, contractors, and consultants.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
  • Maintain full awareness of the company’s manufacturing and procurement strategies, as well as its production capabilities.
  • Provide after‑sales support services to ensure client satisfaction and long‑term cooperation.
  • Negotiate sales terms and conditions and successfully close deals.
  • Travelling to visit potential clients
Preferred Qualifications :
Academic and professional qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
  • Certified Professional Sales Engineer (CPSE)
  • PMP is a plus
Skills

Experience:
  • At least 4
    -7years of experience in sales of transformers or heavy electrical products.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Thorough knowledge of transformer types and designs (Step-up, Step-down, Dry type, Oil-immersed).
  • Ability to read and analyse electrical drawings (Single Line Diagrams, General Arrangement (GA) drawings).
  • Good knowledge of international standards (IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
  • Proficiency in using technical proposal tools and software (such as AutoCAD, and Excel).

  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
