Business Development
Role PurposeTo drive sales growth by effectively promoting and selling MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) solutions and services, building strong client relationships, and proactively identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the MEP sector
- Promote company products and services to contractors, consultants, and clients
- Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs
- Maintain and develop a strong sales pipeline
- Conduct client meetings and site visits to support deal closure
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Understand client requirements and provide tailored MEP solutions
- Follow up on leads, inquiries, and tenders
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to ensure proper solution delivery
- Provide basic technical support and product knowledge to clients
- Review specifications, drawings, and BOQs related to MEP systems
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and opportunities
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates
- Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market demands
- Ensure compliance with company pricing strategy and approval matrix
- Support contract negotiations and commercial discussions
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in MEP sales within construction or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in handling tenders, BOQs, and technical proposals.
- Strong understanding of the local market and client network.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field relevant to sales and construction materials.
