Could you be the full-time Tactical Sales & Business Development Manager in Riyadh we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your strategic sales and business development expertise in a dynamic and fast-paced field. You'll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You’ll drive sales growth and uncover new business opportunities through strategic planning and proactive execution. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Customer Directors, Product Line Services, Engineering, and Marketing), engage with customers to understand their needs, and ensure alignment between Alstom’s service solutions and market demands.

You’ll specifically take care of identifying and generating leads by analyzing the installed base, assessing customer fleet conditions, and matching Alstom’s offerings to customer needs, but also by leveraging Return of Experience (RoE) and best practices from other Alstom units to replicate successful approaches.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Driving business development by promoting and selling Alstom’s short-cycle services portfolio to end customers
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets while maintaining healthy gross margins
  • Gathering customer insights, including hassle maps, stakeholder analysis, and competition analysis
  • Analyzing the installed base and aligning it with service solutions
  • Engaging with all levels of the customer organization, from depot management to Customer Directors
  • Leading and developing capture plans with tender team support
  • Ensuring smooth contract transitions to Project Managers upon award
  • Contributing to improving installed base data accuracy
  • Providing continuous feedback to the Services Product Line to enable portfolio adjustments
All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • A graduate degree in Engineering or Business (mandatory); a master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable
  • Proven experience in sales and business development
  • Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in sales of digital solutions and an understanding of co-creation sales approaches is a plus
  • Knowledge of CRM software and rolling stock technical background, including maintenance and operation, is an advantage
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a customer-focused mindset
Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges, and a long-term career free from repetitive daily routines
