Job Overview

This role is a full‑time Tactical Sales & Business Development Manager based in Riyadh, responsible for driving sales growth and discovering new business opportunities in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Customer Directors, Product Line Services, Engineering and Marketing teams to understand customer needs and align Alstom’s service solutions with market demands.
  • Identify and generate leads by analysing the installed base and assessing customer fleet conditions.
  • Promote and sell Alstom’s short‑cycle services portfolio to end customers, achieving sales targets while maintaining healthy gross margins.
  • Gather customer insights, including hassle maps, stakeholder analysis and competition analysis.
  • Engage with all levels of the customer organization, from depot management to Customer Directors, and develop capture plans with tender team support.
  • Ensure smooth contract transitions to Project Managers upon award and contribute to improving installed base data accuracy.
  • Provide continuous feedback to the Services Product Line to enable portfolio adjustments.
Qualifications
  • Graduate degree in Engineering or Business (mandatory); a master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development.
  • Strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes and digital solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with co‑creation sales approaches and knowledge of CRM software are a plus.
  • Technical background in rolling stock maintenance and operation is an advantage.
  • A self‑motivated, adaptable, resilient and customer‑focused mindset.
