This role is a full‑time Tactical Sales & Business Development Manager based in Riyadh, responsible for driving sales growth and discovering new business opportunities in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
- Work closely with Customer Directors, Product Line Services, Engineering and Marketing teams to understand customer needs and align Alstom’s service solutions with market demands.
- Identify and generate leads by analysing the installed base and assessing customer fleet conditions.
- Promote and sell Alstom’s short‑cycle services portfolio to end customers, achieving sales targets while maintaining healthy gross margins.
- Gather customer insights, including hassle maps, stakeholder analysis and competition analysis.
- Engage with all levels of the customer organization, from depot management to Customer Directors, and develop capture plans with tender team support.
- Ensure smooth contract transitions to Project Managers upon award and contribute to improving installed base data accuracy.
- Provide continuous feedback to the Services Product Line to enable portfolio adjustments.
- Graduate degree in Engineering or Business (mandatory); a master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is desirable.
- Proven experience in sales and business development.
- Strong understanding of market trends, competitive landscapes and digital solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with co‑creation sales approaches and knowledge of CRM software are a plus.
- Technical background in rolling stock maintenance and operation is an advantage.
