Sales Engineer - Saudi National

We are looking for a Sales Engineer based in Riyadh who thrives in Pre-Sales and sales support, helping drive customer adoption and successfully close opportunities. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential for this role.

• Strategic Opportunity Qualification – Collaborate with account executives to assess prospects, understand business challenges, and identify high-potential opportunities for Black Duck solutions.
• Engagement & Relationship Building – Build trusted relationships with technical stakeholders and decision-makers to position Black Duck as the preferred security provider
• Value-Based Selling & Competitive Positioning – Communicate the unique advantages of Black Duck’s offerings through compelling narratives that address customer pain points and demonstrate ROI.
• Product Demonstrations & Proof-of-Concepts – Deliver tailored technical presentations, live demos, and hands‑on proof-of-concept sessions to showcase solution fit.
• Technical Objection Handling – Address concerns proactively, validate technical feasibility, and offer alternative solutions that reinforce our value proposition.
• Proposal & Solution Development – Work with internal teams to develop technical proposals, architecture recommendations, and security strategies aligned with customer needs.
• Pilot Programs & Evaluation Support – Guide customers through trials and proof-of-concept initiatives to ensure they experience the full value of our technology.
• Sales Enablement & Deal Acceleration – Provide pre‑sales insights that drive urgency, reinforce technical fit, and accelerate deal closure.
• Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement – Represent Black Duck at conferences, webinars, and community forums, showcasing expertise in application security.

• Proven experience in Pre‑Sales, Sales Engineering, or Technical Consulting
• Strong background in software development (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, C#, JavaScript, etc.)
• Solid understanding of software security tools and methodologies (certifications like CEH, CISSP, or CSSLP are a plus)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Arabic and English
• Customer‑focused, results‑driven, and passionate about solving security challenges
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Saudi Arabia
