This position focuses on driving sales and expanding market presence for commercial vehicles and construction equipment.
Responsibilities- Analyze vehicle applications – Study the characteristics, capabilities, and technical features of Ashok Leyland trucks, CMC loaders/dumpers, and Escorts construction/agricultural equipment to recommend optimal solutions for customer work environments.
- Qualify customer needs – Conduct in-depth discovery to understand buyers’ operational requirements (payload, terrain, cycle times, fuel efficiency, durability), budget, and fleet utilization goals before presenting tailored vehicle options.
- Proactively manage sales pipeline – Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing and potential customers (contractors, fleet owners, logistics firms, farmers) through regular visits, phone follow-ups, and site demonstrations.
- Inform customers on new vehicles & deals – Keep all assigned accounts updated on newly launched models, seasonal promotions, financing options, and after-sales support packages (warranty, service contracts, spare parts availability).
- Coordinate vehicle demonstrations & trials – Arrange on-site or yard-based trials simulating real work applications, involving technical teams to highlight performance advantages such as fuel economy, lift capacity, or cabin ergonomics.
- Track competitor activity & market feedback – Gather intelligence on pricing, customer preferences, and application trends in the commercial vehicle segment, and share insights with the sales manager to refine positioning strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
- Submit periodic reports to Line Manager.
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services.
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions organized in Riyadh.
- Gather market feedback from customers or prospects and share with Line Manager.
- Collaborate with Line Manager in preparation of Sales budget.
- Collect payment.
- Additional responsibility of selling ESCORTS Construction Equipment.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through social media and other marketing channels.
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations in Riyadh branch.
- Ensure upkeep of Demonstrator vehicles and maintain a log for the same.
- Monitor progress of promotional campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance to Line Manager.
- Monitor customer-wise collections and submit weekly report to Line Manager on updated status.
- Competition analysis of our vehicle models vis‑à‑vis competing models.
- Organize sales visits & establish new business contacts.
- Demonstrate vehicles by offering test drives.
- Explain warranties and after‑sale services.
- Education & Certifications – Preferred:
Bachelor Degree. - Knowledge & Skills – Sales, Marketing, Negotiation Skills, Communication.
- Experience – Preferred:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience.
