Job Overview

We are looking for a Technology Commercial Manager to join our Product, Services & Technology team within the Construction Industries division, part of the Customer Solutions Growth Regions
.

The role is part of the Customer Solutions team focused on designing and delivering solutions in the areas of product, services and technology across regions including Africa, the Middle East, Eurasia, Asia (excluding Japan), and Latin America.

Role Definition

Leads a team typically comprised of sales, technical support, and application experts to achieve goals to drive increased customer loyalty throughout the designated industry.

Responsibilities
  • Support field teams, dealers, and customers with deep product and services expertise.
  • Focus product, services & technology development on solving customer problems at the segment and site level.
  • Drive proactive technology adoption and product & services health management leveraging data insights from a connected field population.
  • Deliver business plan sales and market share targets for the company products in a given industry segment or market.
  • Develop sales and marketing plan and manage merchandising plans to achieve business plan targets for company products and services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through management of product and commercial issues.
  • Identify selling opportunities, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance business relationships.
  • Lead the customer requirement feedback with the product group for a designated region.
Qualifications
  • Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization’s industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Negotiating: Knowledge of successful negotiation concepts and techniques; ability to negotiate successfully across the organization and with external vendors and clients in a constructive and collaborative manner.
  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.
  • Business Development: Knowledge of business development tools, techniques and approaches; ability to explore and develop potential areas of business growth for the organization.
  • Value Selling: Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service “value” and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.
  • Must be able to travel 50% internationally.
