The OpportunityJoin EY’s Business Development team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to drive growth, client relationship, and strategic pursuits in one or more priority sectors and key accounts under the Government and Infrastructure industry, including Sports, Culture, Entertainment & Tourism, Public Health, Labor, Education, Digital Government, Defense & Security, Public Finance, Transport, and other sectors.
This role is client‑centric, market‑facing, and requires the ability to leverage EY’s global network to deliver solutions that meet complex client needs. You will work closely with service line leaders, Regional Managing Partners, and Business Development teams to execute go‑to‑market strategies, manage account pipelines, and lead high‑value pursuits aligned with national transformation priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Client Leadership & Relationship Management:
Establish trusted, long‑term relationships with clients, particularly at the C‑level across government entities, semi‑government organizations, and large national programs. Act as a consultative advisor, identifying sector‑specific client needs and proposing solutions that deliver measurable value. - Business Development & Growth:
Drive revenue, sales, and pipeline growth through account planning, opportunity management, and strategic initiatives across KSA priority sectors. Participate in complex pursuits and lead presentations, negotiations, and proposals. - Strategy & Market Input:
Collaborate with service line leaders to develop and deploy sector‑focused growth strategies and provide insights into market dynamics, regulatory developments, and competitive intelligence. - Operational Excellence:
Implement account management excellence using EY frameworks, monitor pipeline trends, and participate in revenue planning processes with focus on strategic accounts. - Talent Leadership:
Coach and mentor junior Business Development staff to build high‑performing teams with strong understanding of local market priorities.
- Proven ability to sell complex solutions and services at the C‑level across Infrastructure, Government Programs, Tourism, Sports, Health, Education, and related sectors.
- Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
- Expertise in account management, pipeline development, and opportunity creation within government and large‑scale environments.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and client‑facing presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in fast‑paced, multicultural environments.
- Familiarity with tendering processes, public sector procurement, proposals, and pursuit methodologies.
- Ability to transform data into strategic insights.
- Strong understanding of KSA market dynamics and transformation programs preferred.
- Graduate or higher degree in business or a related field.
- 10–15+ years of business development experience.
- Proven track record of driving growth, strong relationships across key market stakeholders, managing multiple accounts, and delivering measurable results.
- Experience in government‑driven environments and multi‑country exposure preferred.
- Established network within priority sectors.
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English.
