Job Overview
Lead business development for Medtronic’s Hugo™ Surgical Robotic System in the Jeddah/Riyadh market, driving strategic partnerships with top hospitals to expand robotic adoption and deliver high‑impact value solutions.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain high‑level relationships with strategic partners, identifying and qualifying new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers to develop robotic and digital surgery strategies, optimize pricing, and build long‑term agreements.
- Communicate and implement business plans to achieve strategic sales targets.
- Identify and grow mutual opportunities for sales growth with key strategic accounts.
- Develop proposals and assess customer needs to recommend customized solutions.
- Achieve individual sales targets by developing new accounts, expanding existing accounts, and building a strategic client base.
- Manage multiple large, complex, high‑visibility accounts, coordinating cross‑functional teams.
- Engage surgeon teams to assess opportunities for expanding robotic‑assisted surgery use.
- Support surgical teams in leading hospitals to enhance clinical strategy through Medtronic Hugo™ Surgical Robotic System.
- Demonstrate the benefits of the system, including improved outcomes, faster recovery, advanced 3D imaging, and cost efficiency.
- Convince budget holders and executives by jointly developing business cases, total cost of ownership (TCO) comparisons, and cost‑per‑procedure analyses.
- Proven business acumen with experience negotiating complex contracts and managing end‑to‑end agreements.
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in leading robotic negotiations and selling complex medical devices or capital equipment.
- Strong knowledge of the healthcare industry in Saudi Arabia and the region.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High financial acumen with emphasis on deal architecture and financial analysis.
- Advanced computer literacy, including proficiency with MS Office.
- Ethical conduct, adherence to company policies, and a network of surgeons.
- Travel commitment of at least 30% of the time.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
Physical Requirements
Travel up to 30% of the time. Position requires physical activity related to job duties.
