Job Overview:

Our client, a prestigious large-scale catering and banqueting company, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand market presence across high-end social and corporate events. This role requires a commercially driven professional with strong relationship‑building skills, a proactive approach to business development, and the ability to secure and manage high-value accounts within the luxury hospitality and events sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across social, corporate, and special events segments
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event planners, corporate partners, and key stakeholders
  • Generate leads through networking, referrals, market research, and proactive sales activities
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to showcase the company's services and capabilities
  • Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to achieve revenue targets and business objectives
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client preferences to identify growth opportunities
  • Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client expectations
  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business development plans to support commercial strategy
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and business gatherings
  • Uphold the company's reputation for exceptional service, professionalism, and client satisfaction

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within hospitality, catering, events, or a related luxury service environment
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business and build long‑term client relationships
  • Strong understanding of high‑end events, catering, hospitality, or luxury service operations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and networking skills
  • Commercially minded with a results‑driven approach to achieving sales targets
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage confidently with senior‑level and high‑profile clients
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills are advantageous
