Associate Clinical Specialist, Diabetes

Position Overview

Medtronic is a global leader in healthcare technology with a mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life. This role is part of the Medtronic Diabetes team based in Riyadh, where you will support our bold mission by selling the full range of Diabetes products and managing the territory from both a clinical and sales perspective.

• Develop detailed tactical plans that set SMART objectives for accelerated progression of Medtronic Diabetes Portfolio.
• Fully understand the product application in relation to the Saudi healthcare market.
• Achieve quarterly and annual sales objectives, targets and initiatives.
• Attend meetings, workshops and exhibitions as required, which may include some out‑of‑hours working from time to time.
• Build and maintain an effective network of relevant key opinion leaders within the market.
• Promote and present educational programs to professionals in the field.
• Meet HCPs and present educational and technical programs to them.
• Educate patients to onboard them on our pumps or help troubleshoot issues.
• Follow up on orders with Customer Service and Logistics.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to demonstrate growth and new business gained.
• Proven record of strong cross‑function collaboration.
• Natural ability to spot a business opportunity and persuade and influence others.
• Full current Saudi driving licence.
• Based in Riyadh.
• 1 year of training expected.
• Education or work experience related to diabetes, nutrition or any medical related field in a hospital using advanced medical devices.
