Overview

Role:
Business development and sales focused on non-cellular and related product lines, including cellular, WiFi / LoRa / Bluetooth / Satellite / GNSS / Antennas / ODM and Pac Bio solution sales or business development experience is a great asset.

Responsibilities
  • Develop new business for non-cellular business units of all products and services including cellular, WiFi / LoRa / Bluetooth / Satellite / GNSS / Antennas / ODM, and Pac Bio solutions.
  • Build relationships with key accounts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market.
  • Work in cooperation with RSM/RSD in region and PDM to define target lists of accounts and opportunities to follow up, directly or together with distributors to increase sales and market penetration.
  • Work in close cooperation with product teams, distributors, other sales managers, and the technical support team to involve the right people to secure design-ins.
  • Increase opportunities by visiting exhibitions, using available market maps, reaching inside sales leads and web shop sales.
  • Check and update CRM database for quotes, forecasts, and other relevant processes required.
  • Ability to work autonomously and understand the market and technologies and follow technology developments.
  • Hunting spirit, frequent travel to meet customers.
  • Provide quarterly updates on MNOs, key accounts, regional strategy and initiatives; identify and promote Quectel customer solutions.
  • Engage Ikotek, Acceleronix and others; increase awareness of Quectel with all key entities.
  • Gain strategic and future plans from all key entities across the region.
  • Track all key entities RFPs and share with regional sales team.
  • Drive new technologies/networks with key accounts.
  • Build forms of cooperation with target entities and partners, and formalize them via MOUs and partnerships where appropriate.
  • In cooperation with the marketing department, arrange joint activities with partners and target entities such as joint media releases and joint exhibiting in trade shows.
Qualifications

Bachelor or equivalent degree in science, engineering, computer science or related field.

3–5 years' experience working with cellular modules / SoM modules / WiFi / Bluetooth / LoRa / Zigbee from a sales or application engineering role, ideally field-based.

Experience of SOC and embedded application systems highly desirable.

Hunting spirit with a focus on new business development.

Location within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia region, preferably in Riyadh; fluency in Arabic and English in business contexts.
