Job Description

As a Sales Account Manager, you play a vital part in Canon’s innovative business sales team and you will be responsible for bringing in new Business to Business (B2B) clients, renewing, upselling, and cross‑selling to existing clients in the Government sector, creating revenue growth by growing sales of Canon core products and exploiting Office Imaging & Solutions opportunities.

By regularly engaging with new potential customers and existing customers in this vertical, you will serve as the relationship lead to these clients and the internal advocate for the clients at CKSA.

You are responsible for understanding each Government client’s unique environment, business needs, technology vision, and internal motivations. Using this knowledge and your technical background, you will seek out ways to fulfill clients’ needs, grow each client’s annual revenue, ensure client satisfaction and retention, and maximize the awareness of the brand name within the KSA market.

You are both a hunter for new opportunities and also focused on developing long‑term relationships where you nurture clients to ensure longevity. You can be described as independent, solution‑driven, focusing on big deals, and enjoy developing strong customer loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Generating top quality prospects in the Government sector from small to big‑size new businesses across the KSA and managing a very active pipeline with short or long sale cycles
  • Responsible for retention & revenue growth of the existing CKSA Government clients
  • Establishing strong business contacts/relationships with stakeholders, gathering data, and leading potential customers on the journey to becoming a customer and ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Acquiring & closing new business deals through cold calling & prospecting
  • Identifying qualified prospects and navigating company structures to identify decision makers, proactively seeking new avenues to penetrate clients & attract prospects, and identifying opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Applying consultative sales skills to assist in explaining product benefits & features, overcoming objections, & closing sales
  • Driving customer engagements, meetings, developing opportunities & other assets to position, propose & close deals
  • Operating as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
  • Delivering face‑to‑face &/or online presentations & proposals
  • Tracking & analyzing market/industry trends & identifying new business, maintaining extensive knowledge of the current market
  • Maintaining an active pipeline report through Salesforce, logging all activities
  • Communicating with clients/customers to understand their needs & explain product value
  • Using product knowledge to build trust, value & influence with the customer(s)
  • Quoting prices & rates as needed to close the deal
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals & expectations; responsible for growing sales revenue
  • Success measured by meeting daily & weekly lead generation goals while consistently staying ahead of daily metrics in a team‑focused environment
  • Guaranteeing a seamless onboarding process where you introduce the Account Manager & the rest of the team to the client and establish regular communication moving forward
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field
  • English is mandatory & Arabic is preferred
  • 3–5 years in a similar role & industry (Government)
  • B2B Account Management background is preferred
  • Outstanding lead generation, sales, business development & negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Excellent mathematical & analytical thinking
  • Experience using MS Office tools, advanced  usage & knowledge
  • Consultative sales skills to assist in explaining product benefits & features, overcoming objections, & closing sales
  • Excellent listener, assertive, persistent, persuasive & results‑oriented
  • Strong hunter / new business development skills in B2B sales with a desire to exceed expectations & quotas
  • Must be a self‑starter with effective time‑management skills
  • Valid KSA driving license & car is a must
