Sales Engineer B2B, Riyadh (m/f/*)
The Impact You’ll Make in this RoleAs a Sales Engineer at 3M Personal Safety Division (PSD) located in Riyadh for sales territory Riyadh‑Jeddah‑Yanbu‑Jizan, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.
The role provides sales leadership for current and prospective accounts, focusing on sales planning, customer relationship management, and competitive advantage. It involves creating opportunities through Salesforce (SF) and ensuring these opportunities are forwarded to the appropriate channels. This role ensures the implementation of an effective sales strategy and establishes standards and measures for the assigned geographic area (Central and Western Zones) and product line (Core – PSD).
Responsibilities include planning, organizing, and directing all sales or sales operations activities and policies.
- Creating opportunities with end users and leading them to channels.
- Implementing 3M ethics and compliance in dealings with customers and your team colleagues.
- Determining the value of opportunities and the required actions to successfully close them.
- Providing support to customers in the Military, Law Enforcement, and Industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on core PPE, especially the communication range within the territory, as well as enhancing collaboration with your team colleagues.
- Communicating and collaborating with different departments in 3M (HR, Admin, Sales, Marketing, Technical, Supply Chain, Customer Service, etc.).
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:
- Saudi nationality is a must.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred in engineering).
- Proven Experience: in sales within the industry of telecom/communications.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
Additional knowledge, nice‑to‑have skills, or preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Key skills: selling, project management, communication.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel, Power BI, and AI.
- Location: Saudi Arabia - Riyadh is a must.
- Sales territory: Riyadh‑Jeddah‑Yanbu‑Jizan.
- Travel expectations: one business trip each quarter.
- Relocation package: not authorized.
- This role has an on‑site working model, with the employee working at least one day a week in the office.
- Working pattern: full‑time.
- Remuneration details: Total Cash Compensation includes monthly base salary (70%) and quarterly Sales Incentive Plan (30%).
