Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive with experience in the steel fabrication and construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction and engineering sectors.
- Generate leads for steel fabrication, structural steel, steel structures, steel buildings, PEB (Pre-Engineered Buildings), aluminum fabrication, glass installations, GRC, and GRP projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, EPC contractors, government organizations, and industrial clients.
- Coordinate with estimation, engineering, production, and project teams to prepare competitive quotations and proposals.
- Follow up on enquiries, tenders, RFQs, and project opportunities through to order award.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals and participate in contract negotiations.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in business development/B2B sales within the steel fabrication or related construction sector.
- Excellent knowledge of structural steel, steel fabrication, PEB, aluminum, glass, GRC, and GRP projects.
- Experience handling RFQs, tenders, techno-commercial proposals, and contract negotiations.
- Strong relationship management with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
- Good understanding of IFC drawings, project specifications, and BOQs.
- Proven negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate with estimation, engineering, procurement, production, and project execution teams.
- Market research and competitor analysis capabilities.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
