Medical Account Manager – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
Job Function: Med Tech Sales – Clinical Sales – Hospital/Hospital Systems (Commission)
Responsibilities- Operate as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to optical/medical channel in your territory.
- Build and maintain strong, long‑lasting customer relationships across all assigned channels.
- Lead all aspects of customer account management, including negotiating annual contracts and following up on customer performance quarterly and annually.
- Ensure timely communication of Johnson & Johnson quarterly plan of actions with customers in the assigned territory.
- Inform customers about new products or promotions that are relevant to their needs or preferences, and address queries about delivery or product quality.
- Plan calls to clients (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) considering the tasks of client potential development in
- Enter visit data in or a reporting format.
- Participate in the creation of business plans for the entrusted territory.
- Attend trainings and educational courses as per the developed plan and the sales manager’s instructions.
- Maintain and develop the necessary knowledge and abilities level.
- Collaborate with the Account Manager for sales skills improvement, product knowledge increase, and overall effectiveness of work in the department.
- Control availability of resources necessary for accomplishment of objectives by the team.
- Submit calls on promptly and completely.
- Regularly update the POA cycle plan and segmentation as aligned with the line manager.
- Provide other types of reporting and current operational information as instructed.
- Provide excellent and considerate customer service to customers and the sales team.
- Conduct internal and external customer communication.
- Meet defined department goals and objectives.
- Maintain excellent communication skills, including a clear, confident speaking voice and a friendly rapport with customers.
Develop and manage relationships with key opinion leaders in the vision care field to support product adoption and market awareness.
Qualifications & Requirements- University degree – preferably in Optometry or Pharmaceutical Science.
- Up to 2 years of relevant account management experience in the optical industry.
- Fluency in English and Arabic.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently, yet capable of seeking guidance when needed.
- Persuasive and highly motivated to make sales; patient and persistent in establishing relationships before a successful sale.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a working knowledge of related software.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
