Role Description The Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing the hotel’s market presence. This role includes managing corporate and leisure accounts, building and maintaining relationships with key clients, and identifying new business opportunities across local and international markets. The Sales Manager will prepare and deliver sales presentations, negotiate contracts and rates, and collaborate closely with operations, marketing, and revenue management teams to design and execute sales strategies that align with Sofitel’s brand standards.
Daily responsibilities also involve monitoring sales performance, analyzing market trends, preparing reports and forecasts, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and retention. The role requires active participation in networking events, trade shows, and client visits to represent Sofitel and strengthen its position in the luxury hospitality segment.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and account management skills, including experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Knowledge of hospitality or luxury hotel sales, with familiarity in corporate, MICE, and leisure segments.
- Proficiency in negotiation, contract management, and revenue-focused decision making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across departments.
- Comfort with data analysis, sales reporting, and use of CRM or hotel sales systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a sales leadership or supervisory role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Riyadh, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
