ABOUTTHE ROLE
Sales Engineer
- Furniture will be responsible for driving business growth by promoting and selling a comprehensive portfolio of hospital, office, and commercial furniture solutions.
The ideal candidate needs to have a strong technical and commercial background with proven sales experience who can identify potential business opportunities and develop strong customer relationships.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across healthcare, commercial, hospitality, education, corporate, and government sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, and key decision-makers.
- Promote the company's portfolio of hospital, office, and commercial furniture solutions.
- Generate new leads through networking, customer visits, exhibitions, referrals, and market search.
- Conduct product presentations, furniture demonstrations, and technical consultations.
- Prepare and review technical proposals, commercial quotations, project specifications, architectural drawings, layouts, BOQs, and tender documents to recommend suitable furniture solutions.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, estimation, and project teams to deliver competitive proposals and ensure successful project execution.
- Negotiate commercial terms, manage quotations through project award, and monitor awarded projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and after-sales support.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, upcoming projects, and industry developments to identify new sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and documentation standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience within the furniture industry.
- Proven experience selling hospital furniture, office furniture, commercial furniture, healthcare furniture, laboratory furniture, hospitality furniture, institutional furniture, or FF&E solutions.
- Experience interpreting architectural drawings, layouts, BOQs, and project specifications.
- Experience working with hospitals, healthcare projects, consultants, contractors, architects, interior designers, developers, and government entities is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience managing tenders, BOQs, and technical proposals is an advantage.
- Strong technical and commercial proposal preparation skills.
- Results-driven with strong business development and sales acumen.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
- Valid Saudi driving license is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
