As a Specialty Account Manager
- Hepatology, you will manage GSK products across the assigned territory through engagement with relevant internal & external stakeholders, delivering patient-focused detailing tailored for HCPs, support product formulary enlisting & ensuring expedited access in key accounts. You will be accountable for yearly sales targets in the assigned territory. You will also assist your line manager in implementing commercial strategies to deliver performance through an end-to-end solutions-driven approach to account management.
- Master implementation of patient-focused detailing through excellence in product & disease knowledge using full collaterals.
- Deliver sales targets and LEAD KPIs for the assigned territory and play a pivotal role in the overall brand and/or therapy area objectives.
- Deliver commercial strategies in a defined territory & offer the appropriate solutions by being a trusted Advisor to HCPs.
- Monitor product performance weekly & monthly and recommend required actions through developing and effectively executing a robust territory business plan aligned to commercial sales strategy.
- Support in marketing specific tasks & driving premium implementation of the annual operational plan.
- Develop market intelligence & initiate the forecasting process in alignment with the commercial trade channel (CTC) and marketing teams to reflect the actual market demand.
- Support the product supply process & coordinate with supply chain, CTC teams to ensure product availability and manage the products' shelf-life.
- Coordinate with market access team to develop & implement access plans of a defined territory to establish a clear access roadmap with the key accounts.
- Conduct frequent effective group doctors' meetings (GDMs) to drive disease & product education.
- Prioritize the efforts & resources through the robust market segmentation & targeting of assigned territory to optimize activities.
- Establish long-lasting relationships with scientific societies & KEEs to leverage advocacy & support patient care across the region.
- Saudi National
- Pharmacy degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- A Saudi Commission for Health Specialist card (SCFHS) is required.
- Successful track record.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the assigned remote territory.
- Hepatology, gastroenterology, or broader specialty-care experience is preferred.
- New product launch experience is preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate high quality complicated scientific content.
- Ability to manage a bigger geographical territory with a proven record of good performance against agreed KPIs and PFSS quality implementation.
- Well-developed understanding of the CCC cycle and how to manage different stakeholders within the supply process, including distributor relations and tender process.
- Well-developed commercial acumen, including sound business analytics, business case development, and commercial modelling.
- High commitment to ethical values-based management.
- Resilient, self-motivated, and persistent, able to meet deadlines and be effective under pressure.
This is a field-based, on-site role in Riyadh with regular travel across the assigned territory. Hybrid working may be discussed based on business needs and local policy.
