Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Key Account Sales Manager to develop and manage major customers within the quarry, cement, aggregates, and related industrial sectors in Riyadh.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in heavy equipment or construction machinery sales , a solid understanding of quarry and cement operations, and a proven track record of managing major industrial accounts and closing high-value equipment deals.
Candidates with experience working with leading heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Doosan , or similar companies will be highly preferred.
- Develop and manage key customer accounts across the quarry, cement, aggregates, and related industrial sectors in Riyadh.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to quarries, cement plants, aggregate facilities, and other industrial customer locations.
- Understand customers’ equipment usage, operational requirements, fleet conditions, purchasing plans, and replacement cycles.
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including owners, General Managers, Procurement Managers, Fleet Managers, and Equipment Managers .
- Identify opportunities related to new equipment purchases, fleet expansion, equipment replacement, upgrades, and major industrial projects.
- Develop new customers while expanding business opportunities and increasing sales share within existing key accounts.
- Recommend appropriate heavy equipment and machinery solutions based on customer requirements and operating conditions.
- Prepare quotations, conduct commercial negotiations, follow up on projects, and drive opportunities through to successful order closure.
- Monitor major customer projects and equipment procurement or replacement requirements.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing, customer investment plans, and industry trends.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts, customer visit reports, project updates, and market reports .
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and project requirements.
- Achieve assigned sales revenue, new customer acquisition, and key account development targets .
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration , or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or a related industrial sector .
- Proven sales experience with customers in the quarry, cement, aggregates, mining, or related industries .
- Experience with leading equipment manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Doosan , or similar brands is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in high-value equipment sales and major project sales .
- Ability to provide representative sales cases involving major customers or projects.
- Existing customer relationships within the Saudi quarry, cement, aggregates, or industrial sectors will be a strong advantage.
- Strong new business development and key account management capabilities.
- Good understanding of heavy equipment products, applications, and customer purchasing processes.
- Strong commercial negotiation, communication, presentation, and project execution skills.
- Good knowledge of the Saudi construction and industrial market .
- Fluent in English ;
Arabic communication skills are preferred. - Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits and business development activities.
