Fire Extinguisher Specialist

Job Purpose: Responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and ensuring compliance of fire extinguishers and related fire protection systems. Supports fire‑safety programs, conducts training, and ensures a safe environment in line with NFPA standards and local fire codes.

• Inspect, test, and maintain portable fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and regular compliance checks.
• Document inspection results and prepare compliance reports.
• Provide fire safety training and hands‑on demonstrations to staff.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with fire departments and emergency response agencies.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of pressurized cylinders and fire equipment.
• Support facility fire safety programs and participate in fire drills.
• Stay updated on fire safety regulations, NFPA standards, and industry best practices.

• Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in fire protection/safety;
  Certified Fire Inspector (CFI) is a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA 10, 25, 72, 2001, and local fire codes.
• English required;
  Arabic is an advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
