Job Title: HVAC Technician
Location: Saudi Arabia
Job SummaryThe HVAC Technician will be responsible for the installation, inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial facilities. The role requires ensuring optimal system performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety standards and Saudi regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Install, test, commission, and maintain HVAC systems including split units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and VRF/VRV systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC equipment and carry out timely repairs.
- Inspect ducts, thermostats, controls, compressors, motors, and refrigerant lines.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Handle refrigerants safely as per environmental and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service reports, and logbooks.
- Respond to breakdown calls and emergency maintenance requirements promptly.
- Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades during installation or shutdown activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, company policies, and Saudi labor regulations.
- Diploma / ITI / Technical Certification in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician (Gulf experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and tools.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance schedules and troubleshooting practices.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of electrical controls, motors, and basic automation systems.
- Understanding of safety standards, PPE usage, and work permits.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and task prioritization skills.
- Physical fitness to work in site conditions and at heights if required.
