• Inspect sand performs preventive maintenance on specialized vehicle and all fireequipment
• Completesand maintains records of all vehicles and equipment
• Servesas a technical expert, provides work direction and assists the operations team.
• Perform daily checks and repair respective vehicles and equipment when required to maintain serviceability at all times as per manufacturer specifications.
• Ensureserviceability and availability of all hydraulic, pneumatic, power tools, smallgear, hoses, ladders, fire extinguishers and SCBA's.
• Maintain compliance and ensure replacement plans are in place for all vehicles and equipment
• Managestock and inventory for audit purposes.
• Maintain compliance to all road traffic regulations and RSAF regulations.
• Always maintains the cleanliness of vehicles and equipment.
• Other duties that may be assigned depending on operational needs of the FTC.

• Skilledin mechanical and electrical maintenance on fire fighting vehicles and equipment.
• Minimum
  10 years' experience in a fire service vehicle and equipment maintenancecapacity.
• Considerableknowledge of gasoline and diesel engines, fire vehicles, fire pumps and allfire equipment to include SCBA equipment and SCBA compressor.
• Thorough knowledge of the methods, tools, and equipment used in the repair ofspecialized Fire Vehicles and Equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards, safety precautions, and safety regulationsrelated to the operation and repair of vehicle and equipment
• Excellentability to communicate effectively in English, either verbally, written orusing electronic media.
• Familiar with NFPA, ICAO, IFSTA procedures and regulations.
• Familiar with ARFF and structural fire vehicle pumps and operations.
• Licensed to drive and operate specialized fire vehicles.
