HVAC Technician: Install, Maintain & Diagnose Systems

Greenland Group is looking for Air Conditioning Technician (FMCO, Saudi Arabia)

Job Description / Responsibility

• System Installation: Safely assembling and installing new residential or commercial AC units, including ductwork, thermostats, and wiring.
• Testing: Inspecting newly installed systems to verify proper voltage, refrigerant pressure, and overall performance before handing them over to clients.
• Modifications: Upgrading existing systems to improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting routine check-ups, which include cleaning evaporator and condenser coils, greasing blower motor bearings, and changing air filters.
• Refrigerant Management: Checking refrigerant levels for leaks and safely recharging systems according to environmental standards.
• Calibration: Adjusting thermostats, valves, and control mechanisms to optimize temperature regulation.
• Fault Diagnosis: Identifying electrical, mechanical, or airflow issues and pinpointing the exact cause of malfunctions.
• Component Replacement: Repairing or replacing defective parts such as compressors, capacitors, motors, and fans using soldering/welding and specialized hand tools.
• Emergency Response: Promptly attending to emergency breakdowns to restore cooling and prevent severe damage to the equipment

Educational Requirements

• Diploma in Refrigeration and air Conditioning in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• HSC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Skills Required:
  
  Air Conditioning, AC Repairing

Experience Requirements

• At least 3 year(s)
