Irrigation Supervisor

Oversee operation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution and crop health.

• Supervise daily irrigation installation and maintenance activities.
• Monitor and inspect irrigation systems including pumps, valves, controllers, pipelines, sprinklers, and drip irrigation networks.
• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance works.
• Troubleshoot and resolve irrigation system faults and water‑distribution issues.
• Ensure irrigation works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor water consumption and recommend water‑saving measures.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress and maintenance reports.
• Manage and supervise irrigation technicians, operators, and laborers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
• Maintain inventory records of irrigation materials, tools, and spare parts.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work standards are met.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and handover of irrigation systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of irrigation systems and troubleshoot issues, implementing timely repairs to prevent water loss.
• Develop irrigation schedules based on weather patterns, soil moisture levels, and crop requirements to maximize efficiency.
• Train and supervise irrigation staff, fostering a culture of safety and adherence to industry best practices.

• Diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in irrigation system operation and maintenance.
• Experience in landscape irrigation projects, parks, gardens, golf courses, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Knowledge of irrigation controllers, pumps, valves, sprinkler systems, and drip irrigation systems.
• Familiarity with irrigation design drawings and technical specifications.
