We are looking for an experienced Service Supervisor / Head of Service to manage service operations for medium commercial vehicles
, including buses, trucks, vans, and road sweepers. The role is suitable for a candidate with strong hands‑on experience in vehicle service, workshop management, team supervision, customer coordination, and maintenance planning.
The role will be responsible for overseeing the daily service operations, ensuring timely maintenance and repair work, managing technicians, improving workshop productivity, and maintaining high service standards for medium commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily workshop and service operations for medium buses, trucks, vans, and road sweepers
- Supervise technicians, mechanics, electricians, and service support staff
- Ensure preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and repair jobs are completed on tim
- Monitor vehicle diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair quality, and final inspection
- Plan and allocate jobs to technicians based on priority, skill, and workload
- Coordinate with customers, fleet owners, and internal teams regarding service updates and repair status
- Review job cards, service reports, warranty claims, and repair documentation
- Ensure availability of required spare parts, tools, and workshop equipment
- Monitor workshop productivity, technician performance, and service turnaround time
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workshop standards
- Handle escalated technical or customer service issue
- Support training and development of the service team
- Prepare service reports, KPIs, and operational updates for management
- Diploma or degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in commercial vehicle service operations
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or service management role
- Strong experience with medium commercial vehicles such as buses, trucks, vans, and sweepers
- Experience with heavy equipment such as excavators, JCBs, and cranes is not required
- Good knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, preventive maintenance, repair planning, and workshop operations
- Strong leadership, communication, customer handling, and problem‑solving skill
- Ability to manage a busy workshop and lead a technical team effectively
