AV Manager (Full-time, On-site) – Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and visionary AV Manager to lead the audio‑visual operations for our organization in Riyadh. The role involves overseeing a talented team, executing cutting‑edge AV solutions, and ensuring seamless technical support across corporate events and internal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise the audio‑visual department, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute comprehensive AV setups for corporate events, conferences, presentations, and specialized productions.
  • Develop and maintain detailed AV equipment inventory systems, ensuring optimum maintenance schedules, timely upgrades, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Create, manage, and optimize budgets for AV operations, equipment purchases, and departmental initiatives while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, event planners, internal stakeholders, and cross‑functional departments to understand requirements and deliver tailored AV solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently, minimizing operational disruptions and ensuring business continuity.
  • Stay current with emerging AV technologies, industry trends, and best practices, implementing innovative solutions that enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and local requirements specific to the Riyadh market.
  • Provide expert technical guidance and support for complex, high‑stakes AV projects and initiatives.
  • Develop, document, and implement standardized operating procedures for all AV operations, promoting consistency and operational excellence.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, supporting their career growth and professional advancement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Audio‑Visual Technology, Electronics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in AV management, audio‑visual operations, or a related supervisory role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of audio‑visual systems, equipment, and current industry technologies.
  • Proven expertise in project management and event production coordination.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, team management, and staff development.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with exceptional troubleshooting skills.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, financial planning, and vendor management.
  • Experience in the hospitality, entertainment, corporate events, or similar industry (preferred).
  • Industry‑recognized certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist), CTS‑I, or CTS‑D (highly desirable).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational needs require.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to adapt to regional requirements and work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
