Diesel Mechanic

To perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel-powered trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles, ensuring maximum vehicle availability, safety, and operational efficiency.

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on diesel engines and heavy vehicles.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults.
• Carry out repairs and overhauls of engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and other vehicle components.
• Maintain and repair Mercedes-Benz and Volvo trucks and trailers.
• Conduct periodic servicing according to manufacturer recommendations.
• Ensure all maintenance work is completed in accordance with safety standards and company procedures.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
• Coordinate with the maintenance supervisor regarding major repairs and spare parts requirements.
• Perform emergency breakdown repairs when required.
• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintaining Mercedes-Benz and Volvo trucks/trailers.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and repair documentation.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Hands‑on experience with Mercedes-Benz and Volvo heavy vehicles and trailers is mandatory.
• Valid Saudi Heavy or Light Driving License is preferred (or eligible upon Iqama transfer).
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to work overtime or on‑call when operationally required.
