We are currently recruiting for a skilled and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to support outdoor construction, infrastructure, and site development projects for one of our valued clients in Canada.

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong commitment to safety, operational efficiency, and equipment care. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience operating excavators and skid steers in fast‑paced outdoor work environments.

• Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers
• Perform grading, trenching, leveling, and general site preparation
• Handle and transport construction materials including soil and gravel
• Support outdoor construction and infrastructure development activities
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance checks
• Identify and report equipment or mechanical concerns promptly
• Adhere to all workplace safety procedures and operational standards
• Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely completion of tasks

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction or related industries
• Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment operation protocols
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in outdoor conditions
  
  Basic mechanical knowledge and equipment maintenance experience preferred
• Heavy equipment certification or formal training considered an asset

• Familiarity with agricultural or industrial outdoor operations
• Mechanical troubleshooting or repair experience
