Lifting Supervisor; Steel Structure Focus

Requirements

• Hold a valid Lifting Supervisor Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant lifting experience.

• Steel Structure
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven experience in steel structure lifting is preferred. Candidates must be able to clearly articulate the key lifting techniques and precautions for various steel component types (e.g., columns, beams, trusses).
• Heavy Lifting Record:
  Must specify the heaviest single component weight they have personally commanded during a lifting operation.
• Planning & Rigging:
  Proficient in reading and interpreting Lifting Plans (Lifting analysis drawings) and capable of verifying/cross-checking the specifications and models of all rigging gears (slings, shackles, spreader beams, etc.) against the plan.
• Specialized Equipment:
  Must have hands‑on experience commanding lifts using Crawler Cranes with Superlift attachments.

• Permit Application:
  Able to independently liaise with the main contractor (General Contractor) to complete and process the Lifting Permit application procedure.
• Team Deployment:
  Fully understands the roles, positioning, and specific responsibilities of all personnel involved in lifting activities (e.g., crane operator, rigger, signalman) and can effectively arrange and assign tasks to them.

• Must be thoroughly familiar with the specific risks and hazards associated with steel structure lifting (e.g., component deformation, center of gravity shifts, collision risks) and well‑versed in the corresponding preventive and mitigating measures.
