Responsibilities
Lead and mentor junior technicians on complex low voltage system installations ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
Install, terminate, and test a wide range of low voltage systems including data cabling Cat5e, 6, 6a Fiber, security systems, CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems and audio‑visual systems.
Troubleshoot and repair existing low voltage systems, accurately diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to precisely plan and execute installations.
QualificationsPossess a strong understanding of low voltage electrical principles and applications, with a proven track record of successful installations.
Hold relevant certifications such as BICSI RCDD, NICET, CTS, or manufacturer‑specific credentials.
Have a minimum of 10‑12 years of progressive experience in the installation, testing, and troubleshooting of diverse low voltage systems.
Proficient in reading and interpreting complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
