Electromechanical Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in complex machinery utilizing both electrical and mechanical expertise.
• Install, test, and validate new equipment ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve existing designs and enhance system efficiency.
• Document all maintenance and repair activities meticulously to maintain accurate service records.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software for precise analysis and resolution of technical issues.
• Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules to prolong equipment lifespan.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety protocols within the workspace.

Educational background in electromechanical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or similar.

Familiarity with PLC programming and control systems is highly desirable.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.

Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining attention to detail.

Maintains and repairs generator mechanical and electrical systems.
