- Electrical and ELV in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a high-rise building assignment within the Construction industry. The supervisor will monitor electrical installation, inspection, testing, energization, quality, progress, and safety across active construction areas. The position requires practical knowledge of electrical equipment, containment systems, cabling, panels, and field-testing procedures. The successful candidate will work with engineers, managers, and contractors to ensure that installations comply with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Role Context
Electrical and ELV systems in high-rise towers must be installed accurately across many floors, shafts, plant areas, and shared building spaces. Poor coordination or incomplete testing can affect system reliability, safety, commissioning, and the progress of architectural and MEP works. The Construction Supervisor will provide daily field oversight to identify non-compliant work early and maintain a reliable record of contractor performance.
Consistent inspection and coordination will help protect design intent and prepare systems for safe energization and handover.
- Inspect the installation and modification of electrical equipment.
- Monitor electrical construction for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Check the location and installation of conduits, ducts, cables, panels, and related components.
- Verify that equipment access, clearances, supports, and connections meet project requirements.
- Witness ground-fault and ground-resistance testing.
- Monitor insulation-resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, and load tests.
- Observe other required electrical field tests and record the results.
- Witness equipment energization and functional verification.
- Confirm that testing follows approved procedures and safety controls.
- Monitor electrical-installation safety and report unsafe conditions.
- Review contractor documents and shop drawings from a construction perspective.
- Identify issues that may affect system stability, performance, access, or function.
- Coordinate corrective measures with contractors and project engineers.
- Liaise with the Senior Electrical Engineer and other technical managers.
- Request guidance or design clarification when site conditions require resolution.
- Monitor contractor workmanship and compliance with relevant standards.
- Track the progress of electrical and ELV activities.
- Prepare reports covering installation status, constraints, tests, and outstanding issues.
- Maintain daily records of work completed by the contractor.
- Document inspections, observations, resources, and site conditions.
- Coordinate electrical activities with mechanical, architectural, structural, fire-safety, and other building works.
- Support inspection requests, snagging, corrective actions, and system closeout.
- Participate in site meetings, coordination discussions, and progress reviews.
- Assist with the preparation of completed systems for commissioning and handover.
- Associate degree or equivalent qualification in a technical or construction-related discipline.
- Minimum five years of relevant electrical construction experience.
- Practical experience on high-rise building projects.
- Knowledge of electrical and ELV installation processes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Familiarity with cables, conduits, panels, equipment, supports, and containment systems.
