Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical system issues in American vehicles from basic wiring to advanced control modules
- Perform intricate diagnostics on engine control units ECUs, body control modules BCMs, and other integrated electronic systems
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair automotive lighting systems, including headlights, taillights, and interior lighting
- Service and repair power windows, door locks, sunroofs, and other power accessory systems
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications (G1, A6, etc.) highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience specifically with American automotive electrical systems.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic scan tools, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical theory, CAN bus systems, and multiplexing.
