- Identify and attend to minor mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues in plant equipment and machinery.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting for breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Coordinate with maintenance and OEM service teams for major repairs.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and preventive maintenance activities are carried out as per schedule.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, repairs, and corrective actions.
- Supervise operators, technicians, helpers, and contract workers.
- Allocate duties and shifts based on production requirements.
- Ensure operators are trained and competent to handle assigned equipment.
- Enforce discipline, attendance, and work efficiency on site.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for plant and machinery operations.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, environmental, and company safety standards.
