Description:
The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician – Trotec Partner Arabia is a full-time, field-based technical role operating out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with extensive domestic and occasional international travel. This role involves the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of advanced Trotec laser machinery at client sites across the Kingdom.
You will act as the primary technical point of contact for our corporate clients, ensuring their equipment operates at peak precision. Daily tasks include diagnosing electromechanical issues, replacing components, delivering hands-on operator training, and logging detailed service reports. This position requires a high degree of mobility, including domestic flights to support regional clients and international travel to Trotec facilities in Austria to showcase special request machines, conduct factory acceptances, or attend live demonstrations with clients.
As part of your onboarding and continued growth, you will be enrolled in the global Trotec Academy to master the technical aspects of all machinery and become a certified systems expert.
- Install, configure, calibrate, and service high-precision Trotec laser machines at B2B client facilities across Saudi Arabia.
- Perform on-site diagnostic troubleshooting, electromechanical repairs, and optical system alignments to minimize client downtime.
- Travel frequently via domestic flights to provide rapid-response technical support to regional clients Kingdom-wide.
- Travel internationally (e.g., to Austria) alongside clients for live equipment demonstrations, factory acceptance tests, and custom machine consultations.
- Deliver comprehensive operational training, safety briefings, and daily maintenance best practices to client machine operators.
- Maintain detailed and accurate service logs, diagnostic reports, and spare parts inventory data.
- Collaborate directly with Trotec’s global engineering and support teams to resolve complex technical challenges and implement software/hardware upgrades.
- Saudi National with valid authorization to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Practical hands-on experience in electromechanical maintenance, field service, or industrial equipment repair.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a closely related technical field.
- Full commitment to actively participate in and complete the global Trotec Academy technical certification program.
- Full bilingual fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written) to communicate effectively with local clients and European technical engineers.
- Valid Saudi driver’s license and ownership of a personal vehicle for local assignments in Riyadh.
- Valid passport and a high willingness to travel frequently via air, both domestically and internationally.
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer service orientation, and the ability to work independently in the field.
