Responsibilities
- Oversee the installation maintenance and repair of all commercial kitchen equipment ensuring optimal performance and safety standards are met
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical electrical and plumbing issues across a wide range of kitchen appliances and systems
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of critical kitchen infrastructure
- Lead and mentor junior technicians providing guidance on technical procedures safety protocols and problem-solving strategies
- Possession of a relevant vocational degree or certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience as a kitchen technician or in a similar technical maintenance role within the hospitality or food service industry
- Proven expertise in diagnosing and repairing a diverse array of commercial kitchen appliances, including ovens, ranges, fryers, refrigeration units, and dishwashers.
- Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and gas systems common in commercial kitchen environments
