Electrical and electronic repair technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical and electronic faults in various equipment using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Perform precise repairs component replacements and system upgrades on a wide range of electrical and electronic equipment ensuring optimal performance
• Interpret technical manuals schematics and detailed diagrams to understand system operations and identify repair needs
• Perform comprehensive tests and inspections of repaired equipment to verify proper performance and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of repairs including parts used time spent and diagnostic results for accurate documentation
• Calibrate and adjust electronic components and systems to meet established performance standards and industry benchmarks
• Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to resolve complex technical issues and improve repair processes

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in electronics or a related field preferred.
• Must have relevant certifications, such as a Certified Electronics Technician (CET) or similar certification, demonstrating competency.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in electrical and electronic repairs, demonstrating practical experience.
• Previous experience working with a specific industry (e.g., medical, aerospace, or consumer electronics) would be a plus.
• Proven proficiency in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with colleagues and customers in a professional manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing time efficiently to meet deadlines.
