Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing equipment and facilities to support smooth restaurant operations. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, identifying and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance.

This role works closely with operations and management teams to minimize downtime and maintain a safe, efficient environment for guests and staff.

• Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for restaurant, kitchen, and facility systems.
• Conduct regular checks, lubricate, clean, and service equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Plan and schedule repairs, sometimes liaising with external contractors
• The Maintenance Technician will respond to maintenance requests, coordinate with external vendors when needed, ensure compliance with safety standards
• keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Conducting general repairs and aesthetic maintenance, including painting, drywall repair, carpentry, and sometimes landscaping or pest control
• Duties can vary daily, from routine tasks to urgent emergency responses
• Diagnosing equipment failures and performing corrective repairs, such as fixing leaky taps, replacing faulty wiring, or repairing production machinery.
• event and catering setup - ensures that all electrical, mechanical, and food service equipment operates safely and without interruption
• Set up temporary or mobile catering and event gear, including commercial ovens, refrigerators, warmers, coffee makers, and portable bars and required other equipment
• Respond immediately to equipment breakdowns, power trips, plumbing leaks, or cooling failures.
• Perform fast temporary repairs or swap out faulty units safely while minimizing disruption

• Proficiency in Troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and technical issues efficiently.
• Must have experience in similar role in Restaurant brand like Kudu , Shawarmer ,Herfy ,Al Baik
• Experience in Preventive Maintenance to plan and execute scheduled inspections and service tasks.
• Background in Industrial Maintenance, preferably in hospitality, food service, or related environments.
• Knowledge of safety standards, building systems, and basic HVAC, plumbing, or electrical work.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals maintenance documentation.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail
• ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant technical diploma, certification, or equivalent experience in maintenance or engineering fields.
