Overview of the Role

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our Service team. The role is responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, diagnostics, breakdown repairs, and running repairs on commercial vehicles in line with manufacturer standards and company procedures. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximizing vehicle uptime, ensuring high-quality repairs, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You Will Do
  • Perform preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, and running repairs on commercial vehicles.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and powertrain-related issues.
  • Carry out repairs involving clutch systems, brakes, aggregates, and other vehicle components.
  • Ensure repairs are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with OEM standards.
  • Identify additional repair opportunities and provide technical observations to improve vehicle performance.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and special service tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate technical reports and identify root causes of vehicle concerns.
  • Follow workshop safety standards, ISO requirements, and company procedures.
  • Support and guide junior technicians to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to repair standards.
  • Participate in continuous learning and technical training programs to enhance product knowledge and technical expertise.
Required Skills to be Successful
  • ITI qualification or equivalent technical certification.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a technician within the Commercial Vehicle industry.
  • Proven experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown repairs, diagnostics, and running repairs.
  • Strong technical understanding of commercial vehicle systems and components.
