EL Tutor Substitute

Assist K - 12 grade students who are learning English as a second language in elementary, middle and high school in the successful completion of their own class work and assignments. The tutor should have a working knowledge of assisting student with school assignments and the ability to explain school assignments to students. Preference will be given to individuals with previous teaching experience.

The organization anc communication with the students, other EL staff, and families as needed.

Work with individual students or with small groups of EL students within the ESL classroom to carry out lessons planned by the EL Lead Teacher. These lessons will be to instruct the students in English proficiency skills including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Part-time and temporary on an as needed basis.
