CAD Drafter

We are seeking a Drafting/Designing Associate to support engineering documentation, AutoCAD drafting, and document control activities in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining engineering drawings, updating equipment records, and collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams.

The position is located in Roanoke Rapids, NC 27822 (Onsite) and requires a typical shift of 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM for 40 hours.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of drafting/design or engineering support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• High School Diploma or GED required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with 3D CAD software is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Create, revise, and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Manage engineering documents, drawing records, and document control systems.
• Prepare layouts and drawings to support plant improvement and capital projects.
• Maintain equipment documentation, manuals, and spare parts records.
• Coordinate with engineers, maintenance teams, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
