Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider

Full-time Urgent Care Advanced Practice Provider role for Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Work in a busy urgent care clinic serving patients of all ages with acute non-life-threatening conditions. New graduates are welcome to apply — no minimum experience strictly required, though relevant clinical experience is helpful.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and manage acute illness and injuries that do not require emergency room care (minor infections, sprains, lacerations, urgent medical complaints).
• Perform common urgent care procedures such as:
  • Suturing and wound closure
  • Incision & drainage of abscesses
  • Soft casting or splinting
  • Foreign body removal
• Interpret x-rays and basic diagnostics as part of urgent care workflows.
• Provide patient education, clinical documentation, and care coordination in an outpatient urgent care environment.

Typical Schedule:

Extended clinic hours, generally:

• Monday–Friday: 7 am–7 pm (12-hour shifts)
• Saturday–Sunday: 7 am–3 pm (8-hour shifts)
• Schedule may vary depending on practice needs.
