Multiple contract opportunities are available for dedicated Special Education Teachers for the upcoming 26-27 school year. Help create inclusive and supportive classrooms and work alongside skilled paraprofessionals to deliver individualized instruction.

Current Openings:
  • PreK Special Education Teacher (Inclusion class, up to 18 four-year-olds, class includes both students with IEPs and typical peers; two paraprofessionals provide daily support, follows EST).
  • Elementary Special Education Teacher (Self-contained classes on CST and EST, K-5, 11 students or fewer per class, two paraprofessionals support each classroom).
  • Secondary Special Education Teacher (Self-contained class for grades 6-8, with potential to include grade 5, serving 5-6 students-capped at 10, two paraprofessionals assist, operates on EST).

Qualifications:
  • Valid state Special Education Teacher certification (or eligibility for reciprocal certification)
  • Experience working with students on IEPs in inclusive or self-contained settings
  • Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills
  • Passion for teaming with paraprofessionals, general educators, and families
  • Effective communication and documentation abilities
  • Flexibility to adapt to student and school needs
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deliver engaging individualized lesson plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with paraprofessionals to maximize student support and growth
  • Monitor progress, collect data, and communicate with parents and IEP teams
  • Participate in professional development and adapt evidence-based strategies
  • Support social, behavioral, and academic development of all students
