Oracle Database Engineer​/Cloud DBA

Overview

Hybrid every other week onsite/5 days in either Westlake, TX or Merrimack, NH

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $63.00 to $68.00/hr. w2

• Build and deploy Oracle database platforms to various business units
• Focus on Oracle deployments on AWS, with some on-prem work
• Customize and automate Oracle platform engineering processes
• Perform Oracle DBA tasks to ensure optimal database performance
• Conduct security scans and analyze PL/SQL code as needed

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration, Performance Engineering, and Replication Engineering across multiple platforms, including Linux and Engineered systems, with expertise in Oracle RAC, Golden Gate replication, large database hybrid environments (on-prem and public cloud), and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
• Proficient in CI/CD tools (Git Hub, Artifactory, Jenkins), database migration, building and deploying data solutions in cloud environments, and configuring alerts and monitors using tools like Data Dog, OEM, and OTEL
• Proven delivery of data solutions on AWS and Azure.
• Expertise with Oracle RAC including performance challenges and tuning.
• Proficiency with Golden Gate replication on Oracle RAC and Exadata.
• Oracle platform engineering and automation experience
• CI/CD tools to deploy into production (e.g., Git, Artifactory, Jenkins)
• Oracle DBA skills for performance tuning
• Security scanning tools (Nice to have)
• Ability to analyze code (PL/SQL) (Nice to have)

• AWS or Azure certifications (preferred)
• Bachelors Degree required

NOTE: Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
