Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Cloud Platform Engineer with the versatility and passion to architect, build, optimize, and manage cloud-native platforms and backend systems across multiple technologies. In this hands-on, multidisciplinary role, you will empower cross-functional teams, drive adoption of modern Dev Ops and Site Reliability best practices, automate and secure infrastructure, and deliver scalable cloud database solutions. Your work will have direct business impact by providing robust, resilient, and innovative solutions on public cloud platforms.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Build and support scalable backend and API solutions using technologies like Golang, Python, Java, or Node.js.
• Architect, migrate, and optimize cloud databases and data pipelines: RDS, Aurora, Postgre
  
  SQL, MySQL, No
  
  SQL (Dynamo
  
  DB, Mongo
  
  DB).
• Automate infrastructure and deployment tasks using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible).
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for seamless and reliable application/platform delivery (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
• Design and operate containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), enhance Dev Ops automation, and enable seamless developer productivity.
• Implement cloud security, monitoring, observability, and high-availability standards (Datadog, Prometheus, Cloud Watch, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with development, product, and operations teams to ensure reliability, speed, and security.
• Optimize system performance, conduct troubleshooting, and participate in on-call support rotations when needed.
• Stay current with emerging cloud, backend, and automation technologies, contributing to best practices adoption.

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on cloud platform, infrastructure, or backend development work.
• Substantial experience with at least one major public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools.
• Solid programming background in Golang, Python, Java, or Node.js, with API design experience.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), Dev Ops/SRE pipeline automation.
• Familiarity with security and compliance within cloud environments.
• Experience with scripting (Bash, Python, Power Shell) for operations and workflow automation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and team collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Have

• Certifications related to Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), Dev Ops, or Kubernetes.
• Proven experience optimizing cost, resilience, and security for large-scale cloud systems.
• Exposure to backend frameworks (Gin/Echo for Go, Spring Boot for Java, Express.js for Node).
• Experience in highly regulated environments (finance, healthcare, etc.).
