Principal Systems Analyst – Hybrid, Dallas, TX

8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or Senior Engineer in software solutions, with a strong background in debit or credit card domains. The role focuses on analyzing and refining the current backlog, creating data flow diagrams, interpreting architectural designs and technology requirements, reading and interpreting code, and, if possible, writing code.

• Strong SQL skill set – prior development experience a high preference.
• API understanding – ability to define contracts and leverage Swagger.
• Cloud infrastructure understanding – AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.) required.
• Tech stack:
  Angular TS / Java Spring boot / AWS / Postgres & Dynamo
  
  DB.

• Analyze and refine current backlog, create DFDs and interpret architectural designs.
• Read and interpret code; write code as needed.
• Lead integration and analysis of banking systems, payment gateways, and financial domain platforms.
• Research, optimize, and develop documentation, user stories, and specifications for moderate to sophisticated software systems.

• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst / Senior Engineer for software solutions.
• Experience with debit or credit card domains.
• Experience leading integration and analysis of banking systems, payment gateways, and financial domain platforms.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
