Data Analyst, Business Systems & Technology Analysis
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Product Data Analyst.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with business and technical teams to analyze current systems and identify inefficiencies
- Recommend improvements based on data‑driven insights and design‑oriented modeling approaches
- Derive and document business requirements, rules and workflows from systems such as Informatica, Python, and PL/SQL
- Apply knowledge of dimensional, relational, and unstructured modeling strategies to support data architecture
- Partner with stakeholders across business, IT, and leadership to gather and align reporting and system requirements
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly through written, verbal, and visual formats
- Influence and motivate colleagues without formal authority, fostering a collaborative and knowledge‑sharing environment
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in reporting, data analysis, and process optimization
- Proactively suggest improvements to reporting methods, technologies, and workflows to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Accept ambiguity and synthesize information from multiple sources to formulate actionable insights
- Bachelor's degree required
- 6+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or product ownership
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, OBIEE, Power BI, and data modeling tools (e.g., SAP Power Designer, Erwin)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Snowflake)
- Experience with data governance, security best practices, and tools like Jira or Azure Dev Ops
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
- Ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights and influence decision‑making
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
