Loader Operator

Perform maintenance, equipment operation, grounds, and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain rail site, buildings, grounds, and equipment managed by regional business entities.

This position is located in North Lake, TX.

• Operate straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle equipped with a front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport bulk materials onto trucks.
• Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn steering wheel to operate loader; move levers to lower and tilt bucket and drive front-end loader forward to force bucket into bulk material; move levers to raise and tilt bucket when filled, drive vehicle to work site, and move levers to dump material.
• Perform assignments outlined by the Foreman, following standard procedures; work is inspected periodically for safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine maintenance on loader, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and customers.
• Demonstrate commitment to safety policies and promote a culture of safety.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to use hand and power tools
• Knowledge of company processes and procedures
• Detail-oriented with multitasking abilities
• Able to prioritize work
• Valid driver’s license

• Adherence to safety protocols and proper PPE use, including respirators; candidates must be clean-shaven to pass fit tests.
