Job Description

Compensation:
Pay rate $36.00 to $42.00 an hour - paid weekly + $1 shift differential for nights

Available

Shift: Monday - Friday

Responsibilities

* Repair, modify, and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure products are in specification

* Fabricates parts not commercially available

* Troubleshoots electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls

* Communicates on all project needs with Maintenance & Production Supervisors/Managers

* Assist (as required) in the training and skill upgrading of other maintenance and production personnel

* Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area

* Maintains effective communication with operators and plant supervision

* Immediately addresses and reports safety issues or hazards

* Interpersonal skills

* Strong sense of urgency

* Must have good written and verbal communication skills

* Intermediate computer knowledge

* Excellent problem-solving skills

* Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision

* PLC ladder diagram reading

* Full understanding of all levels of wiring diagrams

Qualifications

* High School Diploma or GED required

* Demonstrated industrial maintenance experience

* At least five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including successful completion of jobs or similar activities

* At least three (3) years of experience in mechanics

* At least three (3) years of experience in controls

* Demonstrated self-compliance with company policies and procedures

* Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS);
Maintenance Connection experience preferred

* A technical school certificate or diploma in a specific work-related area, such as electronics technology or electro-mechanical engineering technology, is preferred

Physical Requirements

* Standing for lengthy periods of time (frequent)

* Sitting for extended periods of time (frequent)

* Climbing up/down stairs/ladders/platforms (occasional)

* Working in a manufacturing environment that includes periods of hot and cold weather, dust, noise above 85 dBA, occasional odors, and moving equipment (frequent)
